Fall Features Are Here: A Taste of Autumn in New England

There’s nothing quite like fall in New England. Mornings turn crisp, the trees go red and gold, and every farm stand fills up with apples, squash, and cider. Sweaters come out of storage, football Sundays are back, and suddenly all anyone wants is a warm seat, good company, and something delicious to eat. That’s the feeling behind our new Fall Limited Time menu at Tavern in the Square. We built it around seasonal ingredients and warm, rich flavors: apples, cranberries, butternut squash, maple, sage, and a little spice in almost everything. It’s comfort food with a harvest twist, and it’s only here for a limited time.
Sip the Season
Our fall drinks take the best of the harvest and pour it into a glass. Whether you’re toasting a birthday or just unwinding after work, there’s something for everyone.
Spiced Apple Sangria: Sauvignon Blanc and apple-infused vodka with an apple cider reduction and autumn spices, finished with lemon, a soda float, and fresh fruit. It’s apple picking in a glass: bright, fruity, and a little cozy.
Harvest Spritz: A fall take on a favorite. Aperol, cranberry-infused vodka, local cranberry purée, and blood orange, with fresh sage and citrus, topped with sparkling wine and soda. It’s bubbly and tart, with a jewel-red color that looks as good as it tastes.
Pumpkin Espresso Martini: Crop Pumpkin vodka, Caffè Borghetti espresso, RumChata Pumpkin, and cold brew concentrate, finished with a dusting of cinnamon. Think of your favorite fall coffee order, all grown up. It works just as well as a nightcap as it does as a dessert.
Blood Orange & Cranberry Sparkler (Non-Alcoholic): Blood orange, cranberry purée, fresh sage, citrus, and soda water. It has all the festive flavor of the season with no alcohol, so everyone at the table can join the toast.
Comfort Food, Fall Style
Our fall menu is made for sharing. Order a few plates for the table, pass them around, and enjoy.
Crispy Brussels Sprouts (V/GF): Golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, served over a maple miso aioli with a squeeze of lemon. The mix of sweet, savory, and bright makes these very hard to stop eating.
Harvest Pizza (GF): Our most autumn-forward pizza yet. We start with a caramelized onion cream base, then layer on fennel sausage, roasted butternut squash, and crispy kale. It’s finished with dollops of whipped ricotta, a drizzle of fig jam, and fresh rosemary. Every slice is savory, sweet, and rich, the kind of pizza that tastes like a chilly October night.
Kale Crunch (V/GF): Hearty and satisfying. Kale and shaved Brussels sprouts are tossed with roasted butternut squash, crisp Honeycrisp apple, dates, pepitas, parmesan, and toasted quinoa crunch, all brought together with a cranberry balsamic. It’s full of texture and color, and it’s proof that a salad can feel like comfort food.
Apple Cider Donuts (V): A true New England classic. They come out warm, rolled in cinnamon sugar, and served with a side of cider caramel for dipping. If fall had an official snack, this would be it.
