What is your covid-19 playbook?

Our COVID-19 playbook was created prior to our re-opening by our management team with step-by-step guidelines to ensure that our team members and guests are as safe as possible. We have made many adjustments in our restaurants in order to ensure that guests can enjoy a fun but safe dining experience. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Tables spaced at least six feet apart.

  • Acrylic barriers between all booths.

  • QR code menus located at each table to access our digital menus.

  • All team members wear masks and wear gloves when handling food and drinks.

  • Contactless payment options.

  • Increased presence of hand sanitizer stations.

  • Team members are all COVID training certified.

Do I need to wear a mask when I dine at Tavern in the Square?

Yes - please bring a mask and prepare to have it on when you enter the building and check-in at our host stand. You do not need to wear your mask while you are seated at your table, but we ask that you please wear a mask when you leave your table and move throughout the restaurant to use the restroom. We can provide a disposable mask for you if you or someone in your party forgets a mask. We ask that you please honor this rule as we do our best to protect our team members and guests.

What are my seating options in the restaurant?

Our seating options include:

  • Outdoor tables spaced out 6 feet on our all-season heated patio.

  • Tables spaced out 6 feet throughout the inside of restaurant.

  • Booths that are separated by acrylic barriers.

How often do you clean?

Each individual table is thoroughly sanitized between use. Team members wear gloves to sanitize the top and sides of tables as well as the backs and seats of chairs. We regularly clean high-touched areas of the restaurants, including door handles, restrooms, etc. A third party company is in throughout the week to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize the entire restaurant.

How do you monitor the health of your team members?

The management team of each restaurant conducts COVID-19 symptom screening prior to each team member's shift. Any team member who expresses that they are experiencing any symptom of COVID-19 is required to stay home and will not be allowed to return to work without proof of a negative COVID test. We provide masks for all team members and require increased hand-washing throughout shifts.

How do you make sure guests have a safe dining experience?

We have created proceedures that support COVID-19 guidelines to insure that all guests have a fun and safe experience. This includes cleaning high-traffic areas, hand sanitizer stations, mask guidelines, thoroughly cleaning tables and seats between each reservation, QR code menus and touchless payments for extra safety, and more!
